FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Softball program kicked off their home campaign with a doubleheader split against East Stroudsburg. President Moon threw out the honorary first pitch to ring in the inaugural game at the NSU Softball Stadium. The Sharks dropped game one 2-1 in dramatic fashion before bouncing back with a dominant 10-2 victory in game two.

TOP 1st – The Warriors got on the board first, capitalizing off an error by the Sharks.
BOT 7th – NSU kept fighting, tying the game off a SAC fly by Brenna Lokeinsky.
TOP 8th – ESU then took the lead with a home run to left field.
BOT 8th – The Sharks had a chance to take the lead with two runners on base, but a triple play by the Warriors ultimately ended the game and secured the 2-1 victory for East Stroudsburg.

Top 1st – ESU struck first, tacking on two early runs to take a 2-0 advantage.
BOT 2nd – The Sharks answered with an RBI double from Cassidy Duskin. Shortly after, Cassidy Patterson tied the game with an RBI single. NSU continued to pile on the runs, scoring two more runs off ESU's errors to take a 4-2 advantage.
BOT 3rd – With three runners on base, Lauren Margolis tripled to right field, batting in three runners to put the Sharks up 7-2. Copeland closed the inning with a SAC fly, putting another Shark run on the board.
BOT 5th – Lokeinsky continued the run barrage, singling to the shortstop to bring in Maliyah Lawson.
BOT 6th – Copeland earned her second RBI of the game with a single to third base, ultimately securing the 10-2 bounce-back win for NSU.
